These should be paid in advance on the first class of each new half-term, in other words 6 times / year. Paying in advance means you retain your child’s place in the school, as we have a waiting list of potential pupils.
Fees depend on how many weeks make up each half-term (usually 5, 6 or 7). New pupils pay weekly until they feel settled but the only class which is payable weekly is "Tots at 2". Fees are very competitive: to operate a "pay as you go" system would mean fees would have to be increased. I regret there is no refund if your child is absent.
Late fees require me to spend a lot of time chasing payments, therefore wasting your child’s lesson time and being unfair on people who pay on time. For this reason, I make a 10% surcharge on late fee payments. Most dance schools operate this way. (My overheads are fixed, regardless of how many pupils attend: you'd be surprised at the overheads for a dance school, apart from the obvious rent !)
Please let me know if you have a problem with payment. Thank you in advance for your co-operation.
